eSIM for Paraguay

Your eSIM connects as an international roaming line on Paraguay's main mobile networks, switching between them automatically to pick up the stronger signal. Expect dependable 4G LTE across the places most visitors spend their time, the capital Asunción, the border trading city of Ciudad del Este, and Encarnación in the south. Coverage is at its best in and around these cities and along the main roads that link them, and it does thin out once you head into the sparsely populated Gran Chaco in the west or the deep rural interior, where the signal can drop to a slower connection or none at all.

Because this is a roaming line, it works independently of local registration, so there is no Paraguayan SIM or account to set up. It is data-only, with no local phone number and no SMS, so keep your usual home SIM in the phone to receive bank and login OTP codes and take regular calls.
