Is your phone eSIM-ready?
Two requirements: eSIM hardware AND carrier-unlocked. Check both in 30 seconds.
✓ The universal check
Dial *#06# on any phone. If an EID number appears in the list, your phone has eSIM hardware.
✓ The unlock check (iPhone)
Settings → General → About → Carrier Lockmust say "No SIM Restrictions". If it names a carrier, the phone is locked and can't add our eSIM.
Generally supported
- • iPhone XS / XS Max / XR and newer (incl. SE 2nd gen+) — US iPhone 14+ are eSIM-only and fully compatible
- • Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, Note 20+, Z Fold/Flip series
- • Google Pixel 3a and newer
- • Many recent Oppo, Xiaomi, Motorola and Huawei models — use the *#06# check
Known exceptions
- • Most mainland-China iPhones have no eSIM hardware (the eSIM-only iPhone Air is the exception)
- • Most Hong Kong / Macau iPhone XS Max, XR, 11, 12, 13 models (dual physical SIM) have no eSIM
- • Carrier-locked phones (foreign financing/contract) can't add our eSIM even with eSIM hardware
