Twelve countries sit on this one eSIM, running from Morocco and Tunisia along North Africa through Egypt, Israel, Jordan and Turkey, then down the Gulf side into Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. That reach fits the long overland or multi-flight itinerary rather than a single city break: Istanbul to Amman to Cairo, a Marrakesh and Tunis pairing, or a regional sales trip.

The twelve are not one contiguous block, and your route between them is usually a flight. That does not matter to the eSIM: it holds one profile and one allowance, and re-registers on a partner network each time you land somewhere new on the list. Keep Data Roaming enabled for the Simzora line throughout, and give the handset a minute after each landing before assuming something is wrong.

Five sizes are offered, and the validity is not uniform, so read both numbers. The 1 GB plan lasts 7 days and the 3 GB plan 15, while 5 GB, 10 GB and 20 GB each run 30. Match the days to your itinerary first, then the data: a fortnight of maps, messaging and email sits comfortably at 3 GB, whereas nightly video calls or tethering push you towards 10 or 20.

Be clear-eyed about the trade-off. A regional plan buys breadth, and breadth costs: if your trip is one country with a two-day side hop, a single-country eSIM will serve you better than paying for eleven you never touch. Note too that Iraq is outside this footprint although the narrower Gulf bundle includes it, and that everything here is data only, with no number, calls or SMS.

• Install at home over Wi-Fi; the plan starts when you first connect inside the twelve, so a profile added before a Casablanca, Cairo or Istanbul flight waits at no cost.
• Turn Data Roaming on for the Simzora line and select it as your mobile data line; roaming is required.
• Your phone must be eSIM capable and carrier unlocked, so check both before buying rather than at the airport.
• On long desert or mountain drives in Morocco, Egypt or Turkey, download offline maps rather than relying on a live connection.
• Oman is covered here but Iraq is not, so check your route against the twelve before you buy.
