Using your Indonesia eSIM
Plans roam on Indonesia's two strongest networks. Expect fast 5G and LTE across the places most travellers spend their time, Seminyak, Ubud and Canggu in Bali, central Jakarta, and Yogyakarta, with solid coverage along the main tourist routes. Signal softens on the smaller islands and in the interior, so plan for slower or patchy data away from the towns.
The main local partner network is the one that reaches furthest across Indonesia's spread of islands, which is why coverage holds up well in Bali, Jakarta and Yogyakarta. Head somewhere more remote and the picture thins out: the Gili Islands, Nusa Penida, and the Komodo and Flores regions to the east are noticeably weaker, sometimes dropping to a slow signal or none at all in the quieter corners. It is still worth having data for maps and messaging, just do not count on a strong connection everywhere.
